A couple of these pitchers would be a perfect accessory for a long brunch or other party where beverages need to stay fresh for hours or longer. I poured steaming hot coffee into this pot one evening, and at noon the next day a cup poured from the pitcher was still hot. Its "press and pour" design is also a major improvement over many carafe designs--just press a button and pour the right amount of coffee, with no drips. The lid screws on with one twist, and seals neatly into place, which is one reason why drinks stay hot so long. And, beyond its functionality, this pitcher's sparkly silver-tone finish and graceful shape look good on the table.
