EXCELLENT NON STICK SURFACE, $18.99--FREE SHIPPING, 2 MINUTES TO GET HOT PLUS LESS THAN 2 MINUTES TO BROWN SANDWICH BREAD AND MELT CHEESE. I USE A VERY THIN LAYER OF MARGARINE ON OUTSIDE OF BREAD TO AID BROWNING. EASY WIPE CLEAN WITH DRY CLOTH...PULL PLUG OUT OF WALL.

I had one of these sandwich makers when I was a little girl and this one just isn't as nice as I remember them being. It burns my sandwiches at the seems and doesn't evenly brown them. I also think it takes much longer to cook then it should. that's probably why the seems get burned because it takes too long to brown the rest.

I bought this at JC Pennys using a giftcard that I got for Christmas. I've only tried the sandwich maker part, but I'm looking forward to making waffles and grilling on it. I made a grilled cheese sandwich on it and it was amazing! Perfectly browned, not burnt and the machine toasted the edges and sealed the edges keeping all the gooey cheese inside the sandwich. I was very impressed with this product and would recommend it to any grilled cheese sandwich addict!
