Product Description Set includes: 30 quart aluminum stockpot, vented lid, perforated poultry rack, grab hook, 12 inch stainless, thermometer, 1 oz trial seasoning injector, and outdoor gas cooker with new functional leg design. Commercial grade aluminum construction. The patented design of this turkey fryer facilitates a circular flow of oil for even cooking temperature throughout the pot. The tall, narrow stockpot allows use of less cooking oil. The turkey displaces cooking oil upward as it is lowered into the pot. The poultry rack provides a method to safely insert and remove the turkey from the pot. The perforated base plate on the poultry rack is elevated. This enhances circulation of cooking oil and keeps the lower portion from burning.
Amazon.com Review Specifically designed for frying whole turkeys, this 30-quart outdoor stockpot circulates oil for even cooking temperatures and tender, juicy meats. The kit includes a 12-inch stainless-steel, deep-fry thermometer for consistent temperatures. A perforated poultry rack with a grab hook makes it easy to safely insert and remove turkey. A gas burner with cast-iron reversible grate provides exceptional cooking performance, while solid legs ensure optimal stability. Constructed from commercial-grade aluminum and cast iron, the fryer kit offers commercial-grade cooking performance with lightweight portability. The tall, narrow design consumes less cooking oil than standard stockpots. Perfect for camping, RVs, tailgating, backyard cooking, or for simplifying Thanksgiving, the kit also includes a 10-PSI regulator, a vented lid, and a 1-ounce seasoning injector. The pot measures stands 18-1/2 inches tall and 14-1/2 inches wide, and is heated by a 16-inch burner. --Brian Olson

Turkey fryer August 7, 2010 J Ingram Works great for brewing beer. Recommend firing it up and burning the paint off in the middle before fist use.
good for lots of things July 26, 2010 kymmie worked great for turkey, and i also used a paella pan on it. It was very stable with the large pan on it. I did not have problems with the enamel coming off the first time i used it. Good deal for the money.
Cheap product, cheap quality July 19, 2010 Stephanie A. Fessler The price was right. I got the cooker and pot for like 60$ when just the 30 quart pot would have been nearly the same money at the time. I bought it to brew beer.
The first problem was that it was shipped with big metal things inside the aluminum pot so the pot had holes nearly pierced into it during shipping. The prodcut was replaced with another that wasn't damaged as badly. The next problem is that the cookers surface is low to the ground so you have to bend way over at the waist to stir pot contents. The last problem is that the steel is quite flimsy and is barely strong enough to do the job when new, I would hate to see what the corrosion of time will so to the strength. When assembling the legs to the body of the cooker, a weld broke but it should last for awhile.
The burner is very nice and powerful. Plenty of heat and not loud. Good regulator with no stupid canadian timer device to reset. The cooker has three legs so it will always be stable unlike the four legged cookers that will always be unstable and rock.
Three stars for a chinsy cooker and poor packaging. Good price.
Awesome for homebrewing June 27, 2010 Ramesh Khalili (California) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This pot and stove are awesome for homebrewing beer. My boyfriend I just used it to bring our 6 gallon wort to a boil (It holds 7.5 gallons) and it only took 5 minutes max! As far as the condition of the pot, it came a bit dented, maybe 4 tiny dents, but nothing major. It doesn't affect the effectiveness of the pot at all. You can smell a bit of paint when you first turn on the burner but it didn't affect on the wort. I would highly reccomend for home brewing.
Not Professional, but it does the trick! June 14, 2010 Peter Womack (Richmond, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this for a crab boil. Make 3 batches in one night, and this turkey fryer performed like a champ. I've used other fryers at seem to be a bit more sturdy, but for occasional use, this one is great. Can't wait for football season, this is going to be great for chili, stews, and Fried Turkey of course!
