Product Description Consumers can fry like the pros with Waring Pro Professional Deep Fryers. Powerful 1800-watt immersion style heating elements bring oil to selected temperatures fast, and quick recovery time keeps it hot so results are consistently restaurant-quality -- crisp outside and moist inside. Industrial looks and stainless steel styling fit easily into both classic and high tech kitchens. And because consumers like easy, all of our deep fryers include indicator lights, timers, removable easy-to-clean control panels, and dishwasher-safe lids, baskets and bowls.

A sweet compact deep fryer... December 18, 2008 R. Chou (Los Angeles, CA USA) After reading several reviews on a multitude of deep fryers for the home, I settled on this Waring Pro unit. Reason being I read several horror stories regarding other units where the bottom would spill out or the sheer difficulty to clean up. I never owned a deep fryer but wanted one for home just because my wife and I both love to experiment with foods. We previously used a pot, filled it with oil and fried things the old way. That got dirty real quick and ruined the pot as well. Now with this little deep fryer, I am able to deep fry practically anything I can think of. I can vouch for this unit to say that it is definitely convenient, easy to use, and doesn't make a mess. Some may say the temperature setting is a bit low, but it suits my needs. Here are some foods I have fried successfully: Tyson's Buffalo Wings - ones you buy at Costco; they are awesome when deep fried. Beer-batter mushrooms - recipe the wife found, very yummy. Deep fried tofu - it works, you will probably want to choose a medium firm tofu for frying and make your own sauce. Garlic Fries - home made french fries never been easier with this unit. Overall, I would recommend this; and so far, my friends have been pretty impressed with it as well.
Great Product December 12, 2008 R. Lane (Ellicott City, MD) I bought this as a x-mas gift for my girlfriend. It is probably the coolest appliance we have ever owned. It's top quality and very safe to use and easy to setup. I don't really understand how anybody could over-fill it unless you are an idiot. You can clearly see the recommended fill line and really once you start it, and put some food in the basket, you can see how much it raises the oil level. We've fried chicken, corndogs, fries, and breaded fish and they all turn out great and taste amazing. I would definately recommend this for anybody.
I love it! December 3, 2008 Alexis (Boston, MA) This fryer is great! I've made french fries, wings, and all sorts of food and they are delicious! The basket and lid are great for ease of use (and not getting hot oil on my skin) and although the breakaway cord can be annoying, I definitely would've had hot oil spilled all over my kitchen if this feature wasn't available and the cord stayed taut.
Great deep fryer November 30, 2008 Nikki (Ft Lauderdale) Works like a charm. The only thing I would change is the size of the basket. I really wish it was larger so I could fry more onion rings at one time. But I was restricted on counter space.
Very efficient, better than most November 20, 2008 James T. Hammond (Upstate, NY) I have owned many deep friers over the years, and this is really the best so far. Heats up quickly, has a nice big capacity and cleans easily. I am glad now that I did my research. Can't beat this one.
