I have used many deep fryers in the past and also having worked at a Fried Chicken place, I was looking for something that would give me similar results and it did. The large basket is perfect for frying some chicken and or catfish filets. It does take about 15 minutes or so to warm up, but that was expected being as big as it is, it hold nearly a gallon and a half of oil. Would definitely recommend this fryer to anyone looking for one

I love this fryer...with one exception. I has a caked on gummy oil residue in the oil pot and nothing I do will get rid of it. So far. Other than that I would give it a 5+++. It heats up quickly, the temp is correct and it frys like a dream. Big. really Big. But having the extra baskets gives me a lot of options. So far it is completley hassle free. Setting the temp & timer are not a problem. The instructions are very clearly written. Yes .. definitely a 5 (as soon as I can get rid of the oil ring)

This fryer overall is amazing! It comes with three baskets, a booklet with recipes and already preset settings. Many other reviews comment on how confusing the preset settings are but the thing is the on/off button acts like a select button. the best oil to use is canola, its smokes the least. the outside gets hot but the handles on the side stay cool to the touch. the controls could be in the front so that you dont get scorched when you reach over the steam to get to the controls, but i guess once it happens you wont get burned again, trust me! the handles on the baskets come off so when its time to throw in the dish washer. only thing this fryer is a monster and it will take up some counter space make sure you have room. these baskets are hard to store as well but they hang so they are workable. there is no filtration system but when it cools and its time to filter i put a coffee filter in a funnel and sift it back into a container big enough to hold the used oil.

The product is very versatile. The safety system for the power connection is sensitive; and if bumped, will shut down the fryer. Also, the safety to prevent the fryer from operating indefinitely must be monitored or it will shut the system down abruptly. Granted it is a safety, just be aware of the feature.
Cleaning is very easy and storage is compact - the components store inside the fryer.
