This is the one Delonghi deep fryer June 21, 2010 Towanda Blake Hi my name is Towanda
I'm the proud owner of not one, not two or three but four Delonghi deep fryers
I have so many because I'm a cater. This deep fryer is the equivilent of the
deep fryer that is used in a professional kitchen made just like the professional deep fryer
the deep fryer comes with a tempeture control.
It has a basket that holds French fries and vegetable fries, chicken, and fish it can work with out the basket it has a cover with a see thourgh lid the lid also has a built in filter.
I highly recommed this product it has a safety cord the cord is short and it has a magnet in the connection this is so that if it is move from the wall it will come preventing any damages. Clean up is a snap the Delonghi Deep Fyer is made of stainless steal the
deep fryer also comes with front drain. You drain the oil once it has cool down from the spout just like we do With the professional deep fryer. It's a wonderful peice of kitchen appliance you want to have.
Try it you will live the DeLonghi deep fryer i brought mine from Amozon. com
wish I could give it zero stars- died within a couple months.... June 18, 2010 Hunter Habetz (Sulphur, LA) We got this as a wedding gift and used it about 4 times and it quit working. Called customer service for the company, was on the phone for over an hour and they told me that I would have to buy a $25.00 dollar power cord plus shipping to possibly fix it, but who knows if that would help.....horrible company to buy from if you need any customer service- I will never buy a Delonghi product ever again and would never recommmend them. A $90.00 wedding present thrown in the trash!
De Longhi Deep Fryer June 16, 2010 James G. Curley I purchased this fryer a little over a year ago, and was pleased with its performance. It was easy to clean both inside and out. Went to cook lemon chicken tonight, and all I get is err. Will cost more than its worth to get it fixed. Looks to me like this is one of those products that will get you just past warranty. Wouldnt buy another one!
EASY to clean!!! April 28, 2010 Diana E. Donley I've had "fry daddy" machines for years & ALWAYS hated that you can't emerse 'em to clean them properly...THIS FRYER IS DIFFERENT!
The heating element in my new fryer hangs off the back (very securely on slide clips). Once I'm done frying, I just let the oil cool, open the little door on front & open the spigot. VERY easy to drain & strain the oil & then I store it away. The element just wipes clean w/a paper towel or 2. THE REST OF THIS MACHINE IS DISHWASHER SAFE!!! I've only hand washed it (for the fun of it), also 'cause I don't want to plug up my dishwasher w/the grease...but it only takes 5 min. to handwash!! I LOVE THIS FRYER.
All those "plastic" fryers that get the grease in all the nooks & crannies and you can't get 'em clean for the life of ya' are GONERS with this. It's stainless steel & looks fine next to my toaster on the counter.
Only drawback: the handle on the basket isn't as secure as it could be (it did "slip off" the first time I used it) AND the handle keeps the lid from closing completly during the fry cycle...oh well, it's STILL 100% better than ALL my old fryers!
Wish I could give it 0 stars June 17, 2009 Mary (Austin, TX USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Most expensive, worthless piece of junk I've ever bought. This fryer gets great reviews, but it has a fatal flaw - the safety mechanism on it is a little ticklish, and keeps shutting down the power to the fryer frequently. The result is disgusting fried food, since there is no way to maintain any consistent temperature. I wish I had bought something reliable like a fry-daddy that will just stay on while I'm frying. The draining mechanism is nice, but that's little consolation when the food tastes terrible.
