PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. It is very poorly assembled, and was ruined by the third time we used it. I bought it as a silly present for my dad who loves his HotDog's but was really dissapointe when I saw the entire toaster all wobbly and unsteady....it looks cheap and it is.

I thought it would be great to buy my uncle this. He's so simple and he just bought a house so i included this as one of his housewarming gifts and he loves it. He said it works great and heats up good and evenly :-)

I guess overall, its ok, the main problem is you need to use the slim kinds of hotdogs, I regualrly use avrage sized hot dogs and they're too thick for it, they wont slide in.
its better to enter the buns a little after the hotdogs because they get a little burnt, specially around the edges. to sum up, I dont use it very often because i didnt like it that much. I would get one for my office though it could be pretty useful there.
and by the way, if you watch how i met your mother, it is the one that barney uses in his office.

I bought this as a gift for a boy who really likes hot dogs. It does not cook the dogs very well at all. You have to cook the dogs 3 or 4 times then put in the buns to make it work. I think his parents took it to the goodwill.
