Synopsis
This Shabu Shabu Nabe Bowl (IRPA004) pot is made for serving shabu shabu and accommodates large groups. It comes complete with aluminum ladle. Shabu shabu is the Japanese variant of hot pot. The dish is similar to sukiyaki in style, uses thinly sliced meat such as steak, pork, crab, chicken, duck, or lobster. A variety of vegetables, such as onions, carrots, shiitake mushrooms; and noodles or rice are added. Then the final dish is served with dipping sauces. Traditionally shabu shabu is a winter dish but is also eaten year-round.
