It chops, dices and mixes ingredients with no more than several turns of the handle. Each turn of the handle causes the razor sharp blades to turn approximately 4 times. A great addition to your kitchen, you will find you'll use this machine often. The Mini Food Processor has a double title of Salsa Maker for good reason: the time you will save chopping the ingredients for your salsa, leaves you more time to enjoy it.

This mini food processor has the double title of "salsa maker" for good reason: the tradeoff for its tasty purchase price is a bit of extra time chopping and dicing--best for small batches of sauce or salsas. Foods should be chopped no larger than 1 inch before you put them in the little processor, just over 2-1/2 inches high--and be careful not to overload. That said, the blades mounted on the cylinder are razor-sharp, and the blending attachment does a decent job of whipping and mixing. --Tony Mason
