We had the previous model of the Sharp microwave oven and really liked it. This one should be as good. The ease of programming and general usage is terrific. Just enough bells to make one whistle!

This is a very good quality product. Will never have another GE ~ only last for about 1 1/2 year. The Sharp brand is still making their product with good stuff inside so it will last! Other China junk is just that ~ JUNK.

This microwave is a fire hazard. It started throwing sparks inside and then a panel on the inside right showed burn marks. Amazon would not let us return/exchange it. They suggested a partial refund of indeterminate amount and said we would have to pay for shipping costs. Very disappointed in Amazon... and Sharp!

This microwave seems to work ok so far, we have only owned it a few weeks though. A few of the features I don't care for are the automatic defrost buttons. Our last microwave let you program for as little as 39 seconds which was nice when you were defrosting somethi8ng like a bagel.
It stops after several seconds and tells you to separate the product. this is supposed to prevent overcooking, although I noticed food still has a tendency to cook instead of just defrost.
The door is kind of cheesy it still has sticker remnants stuck to it because I can't figure out how to get them off, the door is also kind of hard to clean.
These are minor annoyances as long as the microwave continues to work well, so far so good.
