Very nice looking Toaster January 6, 2009 Ken (Morristown NJ) The Toaster looks very nice, and works very well, We have only had it for a few weeks, But it does seem to be well made. We had a 20 year old toaster I replaced last year with a waring toaster. The waring had cheap plastic controls that were wearing after only a few months, It became very hard to get the toast to stay down. I bought this one to replace the waring, because it looked like it was built a little better.
Some breads have to be toasted twice to get dark enough January 2, 2009 Mike Johnston (Bellingham, Wa USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The light-dark setting needs more range in the dark direction. It's not the most even toasting I ever seen, either. (Either side to side or right-left) The toaster is built like a tank, however. I also wish it toasted faster. I think a higher wattage toaster is probably a good idea from that standpoint. I does look pretty cool and the warming and bagel features are nice.
Very satisfied, and cool-looking too. December 31, 2008 Misty S. Pilgrim (NM United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very satisfied with this little toaster. It does exactly what it should: it toasts well. Looks good sitting on the counter, too.
Doesn't toast December 31, 2008 Another Opinion (Santa Monica, CA USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It doesn't toast. Kind of a big problem for a toaster. Toast, muffins, bagels, everything comes out uneven with large areas totally untouched by any heat at all. Is there a good toaster in the world? I have not found it yet.
Nice item December 31, 2008 REM I purchased this item because of the reviews. I to owned and old Sunbeam and never though I would find another toaster that was as good. It's a shame that someone doesn't make one of the same quality, but I have to say that this seems to be a nice toaster. I was really ticked off when the next week after purchasing this item the price went down 10 bucks. I even thought about sending it back just because. Well I still have it and am pleased in spite of the price. Nice toaster!
