Lovely Slow Cooker January 27, 2010 Sandra K. Winn (Colorado) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is just about the best slow cookers I've ever owned. I would recommend it to all my friends, and I did! Great for two or 10. Very versatile and cooks perfectly (no burning at the bottom). Grab one of these and make your life easier, I do!
Slow cooker runs hot December 31, 2009 Sue (Bethesda, MD) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This slow cooker is very attractive and easy to clean. If you are cooking recipes that require low heat, however, this may not be for you. Slow cooking oatmeal is impossible -- it burns around the edges.
I love it November 2, 2009 R. Turner 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love this slow cooker its the perfect size for 2 to 4 people. I made a soup and it was perfect it cooked exactly as the recipe said. The only problem I have is its a little flimsy the metal sides are a little weak but it didnt effect the cooking at all Love It
Almost perfect! October 26, 2009 P. Jarvi (Illinois) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is the first slow cooker I have ever purchased and ever used for that matter. I made some beans and kielbasa over the weekend and it worked perfectly. I was able to leave the beans sitting with the low setting all day with no burning or other problems. When cleaning everything, warm water and a soft sponge was all it took to clean the ceramic insert.
I do have one complaint with this cooker: it slides around too easily. The bottom of it has 4 nubs that are a part of the overall plastic body. Unfortunately, this plastic is very smooth and slides around. This is further worsened by the short yet very stiff power cord. In order to provide some safety I am going to need to find something to put beneath it to prevent it from sliding.
Great Slow Cooker August 9, 2009 E. M. Petersen 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love this crock pot! A few years ago my husband bought me a 7 quart size. There's just the 2 of us and it's so big I could hardly lift it and washing was it a huge challenge. This 3 quart is easy to use, easy to lift and easy to wash. The only thing I regret is it's not quite big enough to do a roast with all the vegs on Sundays. So now I need to get a 4 quart and use the 3 quart for soups, stews, and desserts!
