Product Description Pop some corn, snuggle up on the sofa, and grab the remote control. Whether it's a romantic evening for two, or a family tradition involving children and maybe even the family dog, popcorn is the perfect snack for a night at home watching movies. Since this popper pops with hot air and not oil, you can munch without guilt (or add some melted butter and promise to walk it off the next day).
Amazon.com Review Plug in the Orville Redenbacher Hot Air Corn Popper and the party begins. In less than 2-1/2 minutes you'll have up to 18 cups--two large bowlfuls--of fluffy popcorn with virtually no unpopped kernels. And because the machine uses hot air instead of oil, the resulting snack is healthier and lower in calories. That's not to say you can't add butter; in fact, the 1/2-cup measuring cup on top of the popper doubles as a butter melter. Simply put in the desired amount of margarine or butter (room temperature is best), and it melts from the heat produced during the popping process. The clear plastic cover and cup, which must stay on during popping so the popped corn doesn't fly all over the room, easily remove for hand cleaning with warm, soapy water. No other clean-up is required. While a few unpopped kernels spring out the chute as the machine begins to heats up, the chute does a good job of directing the popped corn into a bowl. The popper measures 14 by 9 by 6-1/2 inches, and is identical to Presto's PopLite Hot Air Corn Popper except for color and logo. Presto covers the popper with a two-year warranty. --Ann Bieri

Good, but the plastic gets very hot July 20, 2010 Jonathan D. Solis (USA) The plastic transparent cover, gets very hot, and if the corn that did not pop flies away, get ready for a burn.
I love my fat free pop corn!!!!! May 29, 2010 Mirkala Huffman (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am so glad I got this pop corn maker, because I can enjoy a much healthier snack. It tastes so much better than the microwave popcorn. The only problem is that since it works with hot air, the salt does not stay on the popcorn. The good news is that you can fix this by spraying a bit of olive oil, and then adding some salt. I found an oil sprayer at Marshals, or you can just spray a little bit of palm. It is a much healthier alternative than microwave popcorn and it tastes delicious!!!!
A Good Buy May 23, 2010 W. Allen Nixon (Beavercreek Ohio) A little more expensive, but well worth the price. I use the hot air popper to cut down on calories from oils and butter. It pops all the corn that is ever going to pop, and you better havethe bowl ready to catch it because it delivers very quickly. A good buy from my perspective.
Easy As Pie May 16, 2010 geezer guy Super easy to use, great results in a hurry, doesn't take up much space. I've bought two of these and would buy another one in a heartbeat. Both are working great. Great gift idea for anyone you really like that also really likes popcorn.
Buy this one May 4, 2010 R. Fangrad (Kitchener, ON) Of all the hot air popcorn makers I have ever owned or used this one is by far the best. It is designed in such a way as to minimize the amount of unpopped kernels. Surprisingly, the popcorn also tasted much better than with my previous hot air popper.
