Works as expected. We like the fact that edges are smooth and that the cord retracts when not in use.
This product could be improved for those who have arthritis by not requiring a person to push and hold down the top.

Very good can opener. Have not had any problems with it. Like the idea of putting lid back on opened can...I do this when I have opened dog food and only give part of it to my dog..just sit it in frig.....JJ

I just used this can opener for the first time this morning, and it worked just great. I read where some were disappointed that it doesn't stop automatically, but the user manual states that fact very clearly, and it's no big deal to me. Also, I really like the looks of this thing. Visually, it's quite a few steps up from the usual white can opener, and it goes with all my appliances. Overall, I'm very happy with it.
