Amazon.com Review
This tidy and simple rice cooker from West Bend lets you cook rice to perfection without a lot of labor or oversight. Designed for great results in four simple steps, the cooker features two settings--one for cooking and one for keeping rice warm when it's finished. The unit handles up to 24 cups of cooked rice (12 cups of uncooked), and the nonstick interior of the cooking pan simplifies cleanup and food release. In addition, the cooker includes a perforated steamer basket that rests above cooking rice, using the rising steam to cook vegetables and other foods. The cooker's vented glass lid lets you check in on the cooking process without releasing steam and heat and includes a stay-cool grip for easy handling. The side handles are also made from stay-cool plastic, and the cooker's base gives it a stable purchase on the countertop. West Bend includes a measuring cup and serving spoon, as well as a one-year warranty. --Emily Bedard
