I've been using it every morning since i bought it 3 months ago. My son love waffles. It has not given me any problem yet unlike the first two brands that i bought from another store.
Excellent waffle maker March 10, 2010

As most other reviewers have said (a big reason why I bought this particular model), the V2002 is a very good waffle maker, especially for the price. I find the temp range to be good. We do generally use the high side of the range as many others have said, but we don't need to crank it all the way up to get best results, which means there's still some headroom there for more or less done waffles or different batters, and that's good. I don't really know what the lower temps might work well for, but around a 6 is good for us.
Anyway, it's reliable, fairly easy cleanup, seems well built, and the "done" beep is not too annoying. Overall very satisfied with this thing. Long-term reliability will be the clincher of course. We'll have to see about that...

I was very unhappy when I burned up my Oster Waffle maker of 17 years and had to purchase a new one. My waffles were always ready in 90 seconds. I bought a new Oster waffle maker only to discover it took 5 minutes per waffle! Who has that time?
That made me research waffle makers and the VillaWare seemed to be popular. I wanted quick waffles for a reasonable price and no big bulky machines. VillaWare is perfect. Waffles taste great, done in a reasonable time, the machine isn't too big and I think it looks cute, too. Couldn't be happier. Hope this one lasts 17 years, too.

Makes the best waffles ever. I love it!! easy to use, times itself and easy cleanup. But don't skip the butter, oil or spray step the instructions say to do before using. LOL although the waffler is easy enough to cleanup.

Works great and takes up little space for storage. Waffles are easy to make and delicious. I looked at a lot of waffle makers and finally decided on this model. Very happy with it!
